Business Case

As part of the competency mapping project, the Talent Development team identified a series of sales skills necessary for Level 1 Associates to up-level. Based on data from the Business Operations and Strategy teams, the Learning Analytics team determined that up-leveling occurred fastest amongst associates that were highly proficient at selling suite of services packages, such as room of choice delivery, assembly, and add-on protection plans, as well as adding on upsell and cross-sell items.

The LXD team was tasked with designing a scenario-based eLearning on suite of services with branching pathways that lead to various customer outcomes based on learner input.

Prototype

After creating the full branching scenario workflow in Miro, I built this slide deck as an early prototype to share with stakeholders for feedback. I built the deck in PowerPoint, so that I could easily import the slides into Storyline and publish for review.

Within this scene, the learner progresses through one customer interaction with custom responses to each selection, including a “help” option in the form of a mentor.
